10 Nov We Mustn’t Wait for One Last Fight
Thunderous words for mortal men,
Time slips away from hands like sand,
Where every passing day’s a grain,
Confronting life with eyes and pen.
No plan to wonder should have been,
When we’re embraced by that good night,
Do what you must to make it right,
Exist through fire, loving might,
We mustn’t wait for one last fight.
The heavens speak when our time’s near,
Until then there’s no well laid map,
Though that’s not something we must fear,
Rather embrace uncertainty,
Honor the breath which we hold dear.
What road procures our heartfelt aims,
For there’s not one path to the night,
Still feel the sun, it’s roaring flames,
Its gentle glow casts morning light.
Live life now, don’t wait to be,
When darkness comes, the moon still shines,
So too the stars, spiritual guide,
Rejoice in light, a soul that’s free.
