The Dare to Dream Podcast Episode 19: Don’t Let Technology Get in the Way of Your Dream

We live in the most technologically connected time in history, yet, we’re the loneliest we’ve ever been. Depression, anxiety, and suicide rates are at historical highs. We are constantly comparing ourselves to someone we don’t even know. We assume they’ve “made it,” and we get down on ourselves if we feel like we haven’t.

Something has to change. Technology can undoubtedly be a beautiful tool to help us aim high and achieve our dreams, but it can also be a hindrance and a distraction. In some cases, it can cause us to give up on our dreams and give up on ourselves.

In this episode, we discuss how technology can be a double-edged sword and why we need to approach it with caution and intention. We talk about the lifestyle shifts that we’ve implemented to create space for stillness and genuine human connection.

It’s in these moments when the magic happens. Insights appear, relationships are formed, and we discover who we truly are. Life becomes more meaningful when we decide to lift our eyes from the screen.
