01 Nov DTD #95: Our Vulnerabilities Make Us Strong
In this episode, I—Vincent—discuss some of the challenges I’ve been facing in Japan, and why our vulnerabilities actually make us stronger. Human. A part of something greater.
I draw wisdom from Ryan Holiday’s new book Discipline Is Destiny, and discuss what strength meant for people like Queen Elizabeth II.
What does it mean to be strong? Does it mean taking on as much as we can bear? Or is it asking for help? Surrender? After two months of living in Japan, my life has changed quite a lot. Yet I’m still me, wondering, seeking, looking for the signs which tell me to continue with my best foot forward. I’m finding them.
Hopefully, this episode can be seen as a sign for you, too.
