20 Nov Constellations
As the daylight dims,
The stars come out, I can clearly see
Constellations.
Connections of light, perceptible bonds,
Crafted by imagination,
Innate within us all.
The path from one star to another,
Light years apart,
No distance too great to find
Meaning from the human heart.
Through all of time the stars have shone,
Their way through empty darkness;
Beacons of hope,
Guides to brave women and men,
Gods to mortals,
Seeking answers still not found since then.
Forever the way home,
Back to earth,
Return to self, a grounding glow,
Gone before we see them burn.
