About This Project

I had no idea what to expect coming to this city.

It’s more than just what’s within the ancient stone walls; modern Jerusalem is happening and beautiful.

Yet what’s within the walls—there’s nowhere like it.

A rich blend of cultures, people and ideas that are vibrant and alive. An intense and profound feeling of the past.

There’s much I don’t know about the conflict between the religions which coexist here. Yet from my brief pass through I felt a deep sense of friendship, love, community.

I’ve found that often when you talk to people, the ideas of who we thought they were, what we’ve been fed and told, fade. Shots also include an excursion to the Dead Sea, and the ancient fortress of Masada.
